Here's a prototype rocketstove that can boil 2 gallons of water in under 2 minutes using only twigs from the forest floor.

Check back soon for updates on the large version designed for boiling 5 gallons of wort.

Other projects happening in the KHS backyard:

 Geodesic greenhouse made mostly from reclaimed materials... used in summer for hot crops like peppers, eggplant, and okra... used in winter to extend food production into January (maybe?)
